Springing Into New Life
"Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, and the grass grows by itself" (The Gospel According To Zen). This silent retreat offers the time to sit quietly and do nothing, simply appreciating the signs of new life in us and around us. From this perspective some may choose to deal creatively with the question the poet Mary Oliver puts to us: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” The retreat will follow the same rhythm of other silent retreats and will also include optional times zen meditation.
