Jewish Multifaith Day
Theme: HINENI: THE ART OF RADICAL PRESENCE… where Jewish prayer and meditation meet. Hineni, the Hebrew word meaning “Here I am”, is a simple and profound statement which offers a foundation for the practice of living into our lives. In an afternoon of Jewish chanting, shared reflection, experiential practice and silent meditation, we will explore simple Jewish tools of prayer and spiritual development for radical presence and living fully into our bodies, our visions and each moment of our lives.
Leader: Holly Taya Shere is a folklorist, ritual artist and educator on women's spirituality and Renewal Judaism. She co-founded and co-directs Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute and holds the rabbinic pulpit at Olney Kehila Jewish Congregation, where she serves as Spiritual Leader.
